Clearly there is panic at every announcement, $BTC dipping below $2800 seems more likely than probable when those announcements come.

    Definitely probable. We are also entering the weekend which is typically a bad sign of the markets. Given that it is only 3:30 PM in China, there is plenty of time to go.
