Your comments about the left doesn't surprise me as their "playbook" is based on the concept of an industrial society whereas we are actually entering a post-industrial society. They have singularly failed to keep abreast of changes in tech and how these changes might make the world better for the majority rather than a minority. For me hte interesting point is that one of the pillars of crypto is the notion of consensus and fairness, something that is usually anathema to those in the right wing camp.Maybe those right wing libertarians in crypto just shout the loudest and do not in fact represent a majority.
