Advice for uneducated investors

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

Hello all,

I'm new to steemit and cryptocurrency, but absolutely loving it. I invested in a few different coins about 2 months ago now, but am looking to diversify a bit more. Initially I invested in bitcoin (of course), litecoin, then steem and bitshares, but I'm thinking about getting onto ethereum and neocoin. I want to know from some different perspectives, both inexperienced and experienced, as to what you initially invested in, how that turned out for you and what you think the next big currency will be.

I'm also looking to get a bit more involved in the steem community so if there is anything you would like me to write about from a young investors point of view, drop a comment and I'll give it a crack.

Cheers,
galvin

Personally the first coin i really invested in was WAVES. After reading their white paper, some research, and being intrigued by their platform i decided to place about 70% of my total investment there. So far it has made me a good profit, about $3 per WAVE. I can see their platform going quite far with their decentralized exchange and their leased proof poof of stake system. As far as what the next big currency will be long term i don't know, im still pretty new to all of this crypto stuff, but WAVES Platform has my vote.

Edited: formatting, clarification.

I do not know about neocoin but I have been watching YouTube videos by jsnip4 and Bix Weir to educate myself about Ethereum (ETH). ETH is traded for so many initial coin offerings (ICOs) that it's almost a requirement to get into ETH to have some on hand when a new ICO comes up.
