Oyster (PRL) - Mainnet ONLINE! Download a picture of my cat!
I LOVE crypto projects that have working products. After following Oyster for the past few months, I am ecstatic to see the Oyster Mainnet online! This will allow users to access a vast decentralized network of persistent storage built on the IOTA tangle for low costs. It is currently in beta, so all file uploads to the mainnet are free to try out. After that, they initially plan on having 1 PRL token = 64 GB of storage for a year. With PRL hovering around 50 cents, this is insanely cheap. I only imagine the PRL price going up in the coming months and years as they grow this product!
They recently did a 1:1 airdrop of their new Shell (SHL) token which will be used to purchase low cost internet access and peer to peer communication. More info on that here.
