Bank Indonesia's policy on Bitcoin
The uncertainty and inconsistency of Bank Indonesia is reflected from the Press Release of June 6, 2014 which is affirmed that "Bank Indonesia states that Bitcoin and other virtual currency are not currency or legal payment instruments in Indonesia."
However, ironically, on the island of Bali there are already Shops, Hotels, Restaurants that have started using Bitcoin as a currency or legal means of exchange. There’s a vending machine at Hubud to convert Indonesian Rupiahs Currency to Bitcoins Currency.
So, what is the next policy of Bank Indonesia?
