GTX 1070 ROG STRIX OC x 6 Zcash Mining 2850 sol/s
Hi every one,
I'm sharing with you my mining rig setup and my results.
I first started to mine ethereum and decred, but ethereum difficulty increases so fast and i change to Zcash.
This is the list of hardware i collect:
Motherboard : ASUS PRIME Z270-A Intel Z270 Soket 1151 DDR4 3866MHz(OC) USB3.1 AURA RGB
CPU : Intel Skylake Pentium G4400 3.3GHz 3MB Cache LGA 1151
Graphic Cards : 6 x Asus GTX1070 8GB 256Bit GDDR5 ROG STRIX O.C GAMING
PSU : Coolermaster V1000 80PLUS Gold
SSD : Kingston 120GB UV400 Serisi Sata 3.0 Cache SSD
RAM : Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 1x8GB 2400MHz
USB Risers : Latest version ver 007S board PCI-E PCI E Express 1X to 16X Riser Card USB 3.0 Cable for Bitcoin Litecoin Mine 60cm/30cm
I build the rig by mu self as see in the pictures, if you want to do so try thicker wooden sticks it was really a nightmare to hammer the nails in them without cracking them.
I buy 7 USB risers from the link bellow, packaging wasn't so good and some of the card locks were broken but they all work properly, if you have 6 cards i think it would be better to buy 7 or 8 to be sure 6 of them work properly.
Installing the parts were so easy but i had to restart 3 or 4 times in order to having all cards working on my windows and i also change PCI-e slots 1 or 2 times, but at the end they all started to work without any problem. this rig is mining for me nearly for 4 months now.
Setting of the mining software is easy too
first go to nanopool.org and select Zecash and the from the link below download the miner software
https://zec.nanopool.org/help (EWBF cuda for my case)
these are my settings for the miner
In order to get the best results for Zcash i had to change overclocking setting i don't have the technical knowledge but with these settings i get the best results, I will be so happy if any one can tell us why settings are so different for eth and zcash.
if you have any questions that i can answer i'll be more than happy to help, and if you think i can improve my settings i'll be happy to hear that ;)
