Asking Steemit Millionaires In What Cryptocurrencies They Invested?

And my favorite answer by @trafalgar, it was too long to take screenshot:
haha I've only been in crypto for a month, and I don't know if I qualify as a smart person. I havne't done enough research either
I have a little bit of NEM, I think their code and business plan is solid. Their product is simple but very functional (public private chain, time stamps, name spaces, tokens) and is likely to be a replacement to a lot of business databases. Already a bit high though
I threw a little into the matchpool ICO, I think it has a small chance of taking off. If the incentive models were a little more frictionless like Steem, it could go far.
Ethereum should be good for at least another year or two. If for no other reason than the hype and all the ICOs going through that system. I only have a tiny amount of eth as I end up just spending it. Already a bit high, though but still ok medium - long term.
BTC i think will go up a decent amount as soon as consensus is reached on solving the scalability issue. I think eventually market forces will force it to make a decision as it's losing too much relative value. There is a small probability it gets stuck here and fails as it loses first mover advantage and is just left with antiquated tech.
Stuff that I don't have but wish I did - Golem, Cosmos, Wetrust in that order
Gnosis looked promising if the ICO wasn't mental, I'm going to assume they'll have another ICO.
And of course Steem, which holds a lot of my investments. It's in a pretty rare position of being very functional, answering a long requested market demand of reward content creation (esp in writing), and by virtue of a small miracle has no real viable competition (have not looked into yoyow, the rest seem very far behind). On top of that due to the crash (hyperinflation model was silly) it was, and remains fairly undervalued imo.
I haven't looked into a lot of coins, like aragon, sia, waves, lisk, stratis, etc. no idea if they're good or not, just too lazy to research.
I don't like dash, litecoin, or any other pure currency with no underlying service, they're mostly competing on pure marketing which is too speculative for me.
I have one very speculative currency that I haven't yet filled out my position, so forgive me for no divulging it.
Also I only invest long term, I never speculate. But considering how irrational and immature the crypto sector is (eg the gnosis ICO) you could probably make a lot of money through pure speculation.
Conclusion
Most of them tend to invest in Steem and Bitshares because Steemit founders work on Bitshares and promote it on Steemit.
BitShares is Decentralized Exchange and i love the idea because you don't need to use third party anymore and provide your ID, use Bitshares:

Hello @lynx
I look forward to part 2 to learn more about what cryptocurrencies to invest in.
upvoted and following you mate.
Interesting article. I was about to start a similair discussion. You read this stories about people selling their cars to buy cryptos and I think to myself: Don't invest money you don't have. We do need to look better at the insights of every coin. What team is behind it, is there any management. How strong is the product, is there any product at all? I found this amazing platform: https://www.coincheckup.com I'm really enthusiastic about this site, they let you analyze every single coin out there.
