Importing Coin Market Cap Data into an Excel Sheet

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Hello Steemit Community,

Someone asked me how I am able to import refreshable data from a website into an excel sheet. In this video I show you all how I import market cap and price data from the website 'CoinMarketCap.com' into excel in order to use it for further analysis.

Thanks You and Take Care,
McKenzie Gary

This kind of post is gonna catch on. Nice informative vid. Sharing the heck out of this.

Thank you Jacob, I appreciate it!

This is exactly how I do it as well. It's too bad that their sites tables are all screwed up, but I guess that beggars can't be choosers, right? LOL

Also, how did you build that follow button?

If you have discord and have a moment to stop by the From The Ground Up Discord I'd be very happy to show you!

Good job, thanks for the info!

Thank you

Great Job Gary, thanks for sharing the knowledge.Very helpful!

Do you know how to download the historical data? On their charts, they list the price every five minutes. I want to access that 5-minute data so that I can calculate prices. For instance, if I traded BTC for LTC a week ago, I want to download the data for BTC for the 20 minutes or so which surrounds the time of the trade, find the nearest prices, do an average, do some calculations...
Thanks

Thank you very much!
