Now Could Be A Great Time To invest In Cryptos

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

Call me crazy (many do), but I'm having another crypto attack. Now that the market has settled a bit, I'm thinking the time may be right to grab some. Although I have been critical in a past post about crypto, and still have some reservations about the platform, I'm going to take a few bucks and get some. The headlines are all but gone and the price action seems to have leveled out to some degree. Bitcoin is still rather expensive and it still may be too early to jump on that wagon at this point. However, there are some alt coins that seem to have a brighter future and better potential gains. The few I have on my short list are : ripple, dash, zcash, and steem.

Ripple peaks my interest because it is cheap and has links to existing banking infrastructure. they are currently working on faster transaction times, and it could be a safe bet at adoption in the mid term. The downside is it's link to traditional banking, which defeats the spirit of cryptos.

Dash comes well recommended and isn't in the "nose-bleed" section. It seems to be picking up where BTC left off, which is a good sign of things to come. Zcash falls under this category as well. It has been gaining value after BTC experienced it's correction, and I can certainly appreciate the privacy protections built into it.

Steem has been holding it's own as well. Since I blog on steemit (and recently opened a dtube channel), it's a natural choice. It's performance of late isn't too bad and has seen a a relatively stable market price after it's initial drop.

What do you think? Are there better alt coins out there?
