And in my opinion the leading exchanges are already to big - Just take a look at one of the cold wallets of Bitfinex (https://bitinfocharts.com/de/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html) which is the richest BTC-address! - The attempt of the BitShares-Exchange-System is much more secure because is completly decentralized and therefore much less interesting for hackers.
