It's Official: Segregated Witness Will Activate on Bitcoin
Segregated Witness (SegWit) has reached its lock-in threshold. The long-debated scaling upgrade reached the necessary threshold to "lock in" today at block 479,707 with 100% of bitcoin mining pools signaling support for the proposal. According to network data, the block was mined by BitClub.

I was a little surprised to see that Bitcoin had dropped this morning. Perhaps just taking a breather on it's way up to $4000? Hoping after Segwit kicks in later on we will see another market boom. The crypto-world is always on the move it seems!
I think it's just a little correction after the rapid surge of the last few days. Bitcoin is still almost 20% higher than a week ago.
That's what I thought as well. The whole up and down cycle keeping us on our toes. :-)

Watching the price go up is one of those bittersweet things, I'm loving it because my portfolio value is going up, but there is a part of me that want it to crash back down to $200/coin so I can buy a shitload more haha. Will just have to invest some more into steemit
What do you think about bitcoin prize at the end of 2017? will it rise further or hold the price?
