Steem is no longer decentralised and may steal your funds. Use Hive instead.

Ive been into crypto since late 2014, there isnt anything to worry about, the market got overheated with crap ICOs, then Bitcoin has sent jitters and we are all doomed like Frazer from Dads Army.

There is still loads of upside left in cryptocurrency, give it a year and this will just be curves on a chart.

Hmm... my thirst for britainology is inexhaustible these days. I just watched a whole episode of Dad's Army.

I am with you on steem becoming more valuable in the future, we must just be patient. We must also remember that although the value we get for our posts may be lower, we are still receiving the same amount of steem and steem power, thus when the value goes up we will still see the benefit.

The cryptos seem to be recovering a little right now but wouldn't be surprised if they slump down some more with the upcoming BIP148 fiasco on the horizon!

This is the truth! Anybody who was excited about Steem two weeks ago but wants to give up now, they just don't get it.

Short-sightedness is the enemy. As Jeff Bezos says, paraphrased: "Having patience gives you a whole lot of leverage."

It took me months to make anything much here, but I kept going as it was fun. It's paid off now

Waiting sounds like a plan. Very long hold. Trading and buying more sounds great too.

This will all pass in due time. We will all soon forget of this misery when the next big boom up occurs! Remember don't sell while you're down just wait it out! If you have the itch to buy then put it into one of the better ICOs out there right now Pillar Project. Check them out and get in the game at https://pillarproject.io

Software development on this platform is too much fun to stop just because the price falls. My time is my only significant investment though.

I hope to develop something for Steemit eventually, but I love seeing all the cool projects people come up with. That makes it even more fun

I'm in for the long game, of course, as far as I can afford it ;)fun.jpg

We will see when the dust settles on August 1, traded all of my bitcoins to Steem and powered up too.

I hope that pays off for you

I'm no longer affected by what is happening on the market. If there is one thing I learned is not to have any emotions regarding gaining or losing value. There is a psychological game in our heads. When we see something fall in price we tend to be more emotional than when gaining. And if the price of Steem falls again to 7 cents, than I'm just going to buy a ton of it. So whenever the market is going through some changes I try to be positive about it, and try not to allow it to affect my feelings.
