You can't generalize the things, there are many in India who understand the importance of blockchain, crypto currencies and in summary the benefits of decentralisation for common man. Having said that I don't disagree to your post as that's true as well to some extent.

I know there are many but it doesn't matter until and unless most of the population gets on the same page.
Or else it's useless and will only remain a trader's paradise here.
