Is this something like OpenBazaar?
It makes sense to also build a decentralised exchange for things (and currencies, for example BitSquare) instead of only sticking to decentralised currencies.
Its the future.
If I get it correct, the principle of the decentralized marketplace is indeed alike. However, the principle of the third party who both people trust, is completely gone in bitbay. They work with a double deposit escrow, making cheating basically impossible since both parties would end up losing.
