Cryptocurrency Markets, Exchanges and Coinbase growth
It’s no secret that the value of bitcoin has exploded over the course of 2017, but despite its performance, there are still questions to be asked about its place in the wider investment market. Now, new data from Coinbase serves to illustrate just how prominent cryptocurrency has become.
Coinbase is among the most well-known platforms used to buy and sell cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum. On November 29, it announced that it had reached a user base of 13 million – and since then, this figure has risen by an additional 100,000 accounts. Currently in 2018 Coinbase app on IOS was downloaded more than 495,000 times.
The largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world by trading volume, Binance, continues to see explosive growth in spite of price reductions across the market earlier this week. The company added 240,000 users in just one hour on Wednesday Jan. 10, surpassing all previous growth records.
Binance’s record growth this week is taking place in spite of drops across the markets. Currently Binance and Bittrex have temporarily disabled new user registrations. Occasionally Binance allows a certain amount of new user registrations per day but those spots are very limited.
So what does this all mean? This means that cryptocurrency market is still considered to be in an infancy stage. The herd is coming. If we invest in legitimate solid projects, financial growth is virtually guaranteed. There is allot of demand to for new user registrations on various exchanges. It can be argued that the next biggest exchange after Binance and Bittrex will be Kucoin. It has access to new coins and is a relatively new exchange. The layout of Kucoin looks similar to Binance and In my opinion is it very user friendly, appealing to the eye and easy to navigate. Since there are allot of people who want to get into cryptocurrency markets and both Bittrex and Binance are currently closed to new users that leaves Kucoin allots of room to grow.
