Finding a good crypto wallet
I have searched the App Store for cryptocurrency wallets and several show up. I have read users reviews on the apps and still am uncertain which wallet to use as a starting point.
There’s got to be about fifty cryptocurrency apps available. Maybe even more. Most cater to bitcoin and other noteable cryptocurrencies. Where to begin. My goal is to buy a small amount of coins to get my feet wet.
Suggestions please!
If you're serious about crypto, then you should get a hardware wallet. Otherwise there's the risk of being hacked.

Thank you @lenskonig for your suggestion. After posting I realized the tags I placed on this post have zero content under them. I am the first to use these tags and may be the last. We will see.
