Fixed vs Floating Rate: The Choice Most Exchanges Don't Give You:

One of the more useful things about CCE Cash: they don't force you into a single rate model. You choose per-transaction.

Floating Rate is the default most people expect — the final exchange rate locks in once your transaction hits the required network confirmations. If the market's moved in your favor by then, you get more. If not, you get less.

Fixed Rate flips that: the rate you see is frozen for 10 minutes, and if you send the exact deposit amount within that window, your output is guaranteed no matter what the market does. Miss the window or send an off amount, and you're offered a refund or a switch to floating.

For anyone doing bigger swaps where the exact output matters, Fixed Rate removes a variable that's normally out of your hands.
