Ether clogging up?

in #cryptonews6 years ago

I was wondering if any others have the same issue with etherum. It takes like forever to make a transfer. I had last week to make a transfer for 490 REAL to another wallet for which I paid an insane 90 gwei per gas just to get on the blockchain. A day later still the transfer wasn't made using myetherwallet platform, so I left in vacation one week later the transfer was dropped but the money was taken from my account (DYMF). So today I wanted to buy some steem. Of course I didn't look at how it is done and transferred my etherum into bittrex to buy steem from there. By the time I realised that I could transfer directly to my steem account ether and get the conversion done it was to late the transaction was already on the blockchain. So now 3 hours late still waiting for the damn ether to become available on bittrex (it is at 13 confirmations for the last 2 hours) and afterwards probably a day or two I'll have to wait again for another 2-3 days for bittrex to send my ether to steemit. Now I can understand why Quark was such a mad success ICO with 15X ROI because it promised 10 billion or more transactions per second on their blockchain more than even visa and mastercard can comprehend right now.
Also this is not just an etherum thing all of the cryptocurrencies that use the ERC standard must use the etherum network to work. So right now I'm thinking that all of the crypto currencies that use the etherum network should accept transfer fees in the token that is transferred not in etherum it's just taking way to damn long for them and for etherum to get confirmations on the network even though miners are complaining that the mining business is not so proffitable anymore because there are so many mining etherum, right now the ROI for a etherum mining rig is 14 months.

P.S. I don't want to put a picture, because I feel that people shoud read interesting posts without a bait-photo.
