Annual Tradition
Hello everyone, stay safe and healthy.
Celebrations of major holidays worldwide are held for various purposes and purposes, whether for state celebrations like Independence Day or other historic days to commemorate or commemorate history, which is a national obligation. Likewise, certain organizations have their own historic days. Religious celebrations also have days that must be celebrated to identify themselves as religious communities. For example, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are celebrated by Muslims. Likewise, other religious communities celebrate Christmas for Christians, Nyepi for Hindus, Vesak for Buddhists, and many other religious communities celebrate various holidays each year.
Besides holidays, there are also several other important days that are celebrated with affiliation with regional and regional cultures. For example, in my post this time, I will discuss the celebration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad. Muslims celebrate and celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad in various ways, depending on the culture of each region. The celebration is accompanied by the recitation of blessings on the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The tradition of celebrating the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) falls on the 12th of Rabi al-Awwal of the Hijri year. The celebration is celebrated with the name "Mawlid Nabi Muhammad (peace be upon him). In addition to the recitation of blessings, the event also includes delicious dishes tailored to the local culture.
As in my post this time, I'm showing several images of the food prepared to celebrate this celebration. These foods are prepared to be shared with a large crowd, usually held at a Muslim place of worship. The food is distributed to all who come to the place of worship to celebrate the blessings and prayers for the Muslim community. Below are some photos I captured while preparing the food to be brought to the Prophet Muhammad's birthday celebration:
Food prepared with a variety of menus derived from the culinary cultures of a particular region. Typically, different regions prepare various versions of the dish, including meat dishes, such as beef, chicken, and even duck. There are also fish dishes featuring several types of fish, such as tuna, milkfish, and shrimp. Additional dishes include boiled eggs, such as marinated chicken and duck eggs. For dessert, there are usually fruits such as bananas, oranges, and watermelon.
The image above shows a prepared food package that was brought to the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday. The package was served in two packages: one containing rice, the staple food in our area, and the other containing a variety of other foods, as shown above.
