My Gaming Journey on Cur8 Games 🎮 At 3rd place, going for 1st position

Another day to make progress on Cur8 but this was not just progress, today is the long awaited victory. I've been sharing my experience and in most of the blogs I say I'll get better and hope to get to the top 5 at least, little did I know that luck and experience were going to give me more than I bargained for.

I'm really happy today. This is the tallest Sky Tower I've built ever since I started. So that means I've got the star power to stay at top 3 like river.walker does.

Personal Gameplay realization 🤔

I've learned something which I think helped me in this gameplay today. I noticed that every time you misalign a block, the game takes away your rhythm so unless you have a technique to get back to your rhythm of perfectly aligned blocks, you'll keep chopping off the blocks till you lose.

I take in a deep breath and try to get back in rhythm.

Thoughts on XP 💭

I could be wrong.

Is it just me or each game has a little XP bias if one game is massively better than another. For example, in my first game, I placed a final tower height of 73 with 48 perfect drops, 9 of which were my largest combo. I gained a 9.65 XP bias. This is probably how the game tries to keep everyone on an even playing field.

My second game went a lot better. Instead of 73, I completed a tower height of 81. I reached a combo of 17 at block 26. The game takes away even more blocks to make the challenge more difficult, and combos for larger gaps are needed. I gained an even larger XP bias of 10.05.

My Achievement today 🏆

My best gameplay of Sky Tower ever since I started playing Cur8 games. I completed a tower height of 121 with 88 perfect drop placements and my largest combo of 17. I earned an even larger XP, 17.05 XP and it made me want to replay it to get a better high score but it was such a great achievement I had to find out what quests I've completed and my rank on the leaderboard. I earned coins from some achievements for today.

I checked out the weekly Sky Tower leaderboard, I've won third place overall with my high score of 121. I'm so proud of this accomplishment. I am right behind wildnature1 but we're both so far from river.walker.
