RE: Curie Author Showcase (February 16th, 2018)
Nice to hear from you @jerrytsuseer, and that is a beautifully formatted comment - practically a work of art on its own :) Keep the good posts coming and we will find them. Much love - Carl
Thank you again Carl (@carlgnash... I just saw your reply about upvote farming on my post)
I used to spend a GREAT deal of time formatting my replies to comments, as well as
My comments on other people posts, in ways like this. I've gotten disheartened
By the lack of response from the general population, and my (comparatively)
Lower payout/return than what I see on other peoples posts. I'm lucky
To get $1.50 per post, but I see others getting $40-$80 per, for what
To me are the same type of writings, same quality. I'm poor, I
Can't afford to invest in forcing my posts into the Trending
Queue, and I don't want any artificial prop-up, I think I do
Write quality stuff, I do try to promote 'the community'
Although I admit I don't go out of my way to the
To look for other posts to upvote; I dislike the FEED
So I avoid it; I will go to 'my feed' and look for my friends
To upvote, and then only when my vote power is high enough.
I see this conversation didn't go further.
I almost never post links to my own creations uninvited (spam) so
Otherwise, I thought all that needed to be said had been said.
I totally agreed, and am keeping an eye on your posting :) Cheers - Carl
Not actually. Do you belong to the @thewritersclub?
Mhm.. so, @thewritersclub is a wonderful Discord community featuring fiction, non-fiction and poetry workshops. You can get your work edited for free. All you do is submit it and wait for other writers to take a look at it and leave their comments.
If you decide to give it a try, I'd be happy to introduce you to the guys. No need to take a quick decision though. I'll be always around.
Hi @steemfluencer, you said
You can get your work edited for free.
Edited for what? If it is for realworld publishing, that might be interesting.
Otherwise, I like the way I format and edit my own works.
It works for both. I've just got a reply and I can confirm that - they do stuff for mainstream as well.
