My application for Community Curator for January

Greetings to the Steemit family! It is a privilege to greet you all and wish you the best. I am writing to formally submit my application for curator position in January 2026. This application is being submitted independently, which may represent a significant workload, but I am confident I can manage it effectively.

My Work proposal

Those who know me are aware that I've been working on one of the applications being developed for the platform, a great project we've been working on with a lot of effort, and it's gaining traction. However, I've noticed that some users are staying away from this new wave of applications, continuing to write their blogs, which they do very well, but often don't receive the support they need.

During this curation period, my work will focus more on supporting written content such as stories #creativewriting, as I really enjoy short fiction, as well as #poetry #story and #thediarygame. The writers were the ones who laid the foundations of Steemit in its early days, and some have struggled to adapt to this new era of videos, reviews, and games. I think they deserve all the support we can give them.

The idea is to support all the quality content created on the platform.

My presentation

My name is Marvin Velasquez, I'm from Venezuela, and I'm a retired police officer. I worked for 16 years and decided to leave the force to pursue other things, including a quieter life. I speak Spanish as my native language, with knowledge of English, Italian, and Portuguese.

I joined Steemit in 2021, and since then I've dedicated myself to supporting all the initiatives proposed on the platform. I've held several positions within communities and initiatives that have helped me understand how it works and the proper use of the available resources. These positions include:

• Moderator in Recreative Steem Community.

• Moderator in Steem Venezuela Community.

• Moderator in Comunidad Latina. (At the moment)

• Teacher in season 22 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge

• Video Watcher and collaborator on the project Speak on Steem. (At the moment)

• Curator with the Booming 03 account for four periods.
