Curiosities I don't understand

I live in a region of Latin America, specifically in the country that has the Catatumbo Lightning meteorological phenomenon. What does that mean? It is a series of lightning bolts that always strike the same area of Zulia State. So far, so good, until you consider that it is a recurring phenomenon that is silent, meaning you cannot hear thunder.

Now, the curious thing is that I live very, very far from that place, as far as the kilometers of several states within the country allow, but nevertheless, for weeks now, I think it's been a little over a month now, I've been seeing a similar phenomenon in the area where I live, with similar characteristics. There is no sound of thunder, only lightning, and from where I always see it, I can tell that it always seems to strike in the same areas.

You may think I'm crazy, but I believe this began along with a series of earthquakes that were near the state of Zulia, and perhaps it's just a bit of paranoia, madness, or simply something that is real. This leads me to ask myself a question and ask you for your opinions: could this phenomenon be caused by reasons beyond our planet? Do you believe in life outside our planet? Honestly, I do.
