Congress and Left Front have separately called nationwide 'Bharat bandh' to protest against soaring fuel prices and weak rupee.

While the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S), Samajwadi Party (SP), Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Maharshtra Navanirman Sena (MNS) have backed the shutdown, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Biju Janta Dal (BJD), Shiv Sena and Trinamool Congress (TMC) have decided to stay away from it.Screenshot_2018-09-10-09-19-57-190_com.mobstac.thehindu.png
