Private Military Companies are organized mercenaries for hire in a lucrative and growing business. We see them in physical conflicts, but what about the cyber battlefields?

Governments hire private organizations to do their hacking, gather digital intelligence, disrupt the critical infrastructure of foreign adversaries, and push targeted misinformation campaigns to sway public opinions.

The Economist recently did a great piece on PMCs but I think it misses an important aspect in the evolution of such groups.
