Cycles Never Die
Cycles never "die" or disappear...however, they fluctuate from their nominal values.
An 80 day cycle could average 63.5 days but range between 47 to 95 days. This range of fluctuation can easily be plotted on a bell curve.
For #Bitcoin, the 54 month Hurst (4 yr cycle) could be truncating to a 50 or 49 month trough to trough duration. What does this mean:
Early onset of bear market (October was the cycle peak)
Early reset of the 54 month cycle in 2026: June/Aug rather than usual Oct/Nov.
But, but...what about all the On-Chain analytics saying there was never a euphoria? As long as there are more sellers than buyers, a bear market can be had.
What would this look like on a chart?
Cycle truncation also jives well with the Elliott Wave five wave impulse count followed by an expanded flat (abc) sequence.
