January 2018 Cookbook of the Month: Persiana
It is all about the new today: new day, new week, new month, new year!! And kicking 2018 off with a very exciting Cookbook of the Month - Persiana by Sabrina Ghayour.
I was given this book, and many many others, by our dearest friends who shares the expat life with us here in London. It was delivered in a gorgeous Sous Chef sack (yes like a Santa sack thingy) along with 7 hard-to-find ingredients which is commonly used in Middle Eastern recipes. The sack included: the book (pictured above), sumac, edible rose petals, dried barberries, dried white limes (these are incredibly hard to find), za'atar, pomegrante molasses and spanish saffron.
Sous Chef (www.souschef.co.uk) has awesome gift ideas for foodies. Do check them out, they are fab! And the hamper I got is the "Authentic Persian Cooking Set".
5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.. Happy New Cookbook of the Month!
