RE: Baby Bear Sings the Ballad of the Frisbee - Daily Pet Photography of @kona

Cabbage? Is she German? LOL!
My parents once had a beagle who ate raspberries off the bush and sat by Mom when she cracked black walnuts, hoping she'd drop some.
Our collies like dried cranberries.
Grapes are said to be bad for dogs, but they've snagged some off the floor.
If hot dog and bratwurst are too salty and fatty for our dogs, why do WE eat the stuff?
Sorry. One comment leads to one question after another, in my unfocused mind!

This is a good question. Why are we poisoning ourselves? Since I have my kids, we try to eat healthy food as much as we can. Unfortunately, sometimes we skip the trend, especially when in town.
Apparently even the dogs food is not quite good. I've heard that it is made from old meat, scraps and additives. However this is what vets recommend....

Along with Paleo and other diets trending among humans, the Raw Foods for Dogs and Cats groups are urging us to quit feeding our beloved furball friends this awful dry kibble. It's not what evolution engineered these animals to eat. Their teeth and digestive systems are made for tearing into raw meat. Now the vets who push the kibble get additional business cleaning teeth and treating pancreatitis in our pets. *sigh

Unfortunately, everything turned into a business. They do not care about our well being (or our pets'), just making money. And as bigger their wealth becomes, more things they require.
