I guess they call it psybient - short for well psychedelic ambient. One of the main reasons I am attracted to it is the incorporation of world music. Plus it has a way of adding grit to upbeat music which to me isn't always easy to pull off.
Here is a link to the full show well worth a couple hours of time. I find it hard not to move to a lot of the songs just kinda infectious.
