Dash Evolution roadmap - Is it to late?

Here is the new official roadmap for Dash evolution:

  • Blockchain size increase 2MB, testnet for evolution
    November 2017

  • New DashPay Wallet (Evolution ready)
    February 2018

  • Dash Evolution Release v1 with DashPay, DAPI, DashDrive, DashCore v13.0, more user-friendly wallet, ...
    Juni 2018

  • Dash Evolution Release v2 with fiat and creditcard support DashDrive, public and private accounts, Evolution marketplace / Add-ons / Rating system, 3rd party addons , multisig, external storage support, new Tor-routed implementation for PrivateSend, ...
    to be announced. So December 2018 or beginning of 2019?

So the great new functions are coming in release v2 in 1 1/2 years (or longer) from now. That's an eternity in cryptocurrency time.

I'm still a Dash fan, but the cempetitors (like Ethereum, Litecoin and new future version of Nem: Catapult) are not sleeping.

    I thought Evolution was supposed to be late 2017. It's now June 2018? That's a significant delay. Like you, I'm a Dash fan, but ouch.
