Let Learners Help: The Power of Collaborative Problem Solving
Daybook January 09
Letting learners solve problems on their own not only builds their confidence but also creates a cooperative and positive learning environment that leads to success.
When unexpected obstacles arise, like a snowstorm closing the school,
it’s easy for students to feel stressed and uncertain.
However, in this situation, they took the initiative and worked together to find a solution that worked for everyone.
This experience reminded me of how much learners can grow when we let them take ownership of the problem-solving process.
By encouraging them to find the answer, we not only build their confidence but also foster a sense of cooperation and creativity.
The results were not just about solving the immediate issue,
but about teaching them a valuable lesson in teamwork and leadership.

The greatest learning comes when we allow learners to solve problems on their own.
