RE: "Dear Dawne" Live Today! - Get A "Pro" To Check Out Your Blog (the line starts forming..3..2..1..NOW)

Hi, ill take this as an opportunity to express and to ask, any strategies on engaging many people on your post, it seems newbies can only get few views aside on arts and talented people. Sometimes good post are buried down to the bottom due to lack of engagement. Is it the tags? topics? I want to learn more. :) i hope this will be noticed :)

It's true that some good, quality posts by newbies can get buried. There are so many steemians working on here.

  • Tags are VERY important ( I will make this my contribution post next week for Dave) but in the mean time make sure to tag properly. If you are writing a post about how to make an omelette- tag the post with food, recipe, howto and maybe foodchallenge and foodphotography
  • Getting people to reply and carry on a conversation can be difficult in the beginning. I suggest leaving some open-ended questions for the people to reply to. And always answer comments whether on your own post or if you had commented to someone else and they replied to you- carry on a conversation. This shows the stemians that you are serious about the platform.

Thanks for this. ill try to end my post with a question to be answered to create engagement to me and the readers ! thanks for having my comment answered it really mean a thing to me :)
