Meet Osiris, the Anuvys OS browser

in #decenternet7 years ago (edited)

As we have seen, the Anuvys operating system has different applications for a better user experience. One of them is the Osiris browser that combines its open source with the Chromium browser.

Osiris is an open source browser based on the Chromium browser. Chromium is the open source web browser project from which Google Chrome gets its source code. The two browsers share most of the code and functions.

Its goal is to build a safer, faster and more stable way for all Internet users to experience the web, it is the main objective of Osiris.

Chromium uses ElectronJS. Electron is an open source framework maintained by GitHub and its community to create native applications with web technologies such as Javascript, HTML and CSS. It is compatible with Mac, Windows and Linux.

In its web browser Osiris is able to offer traditional websites, but its power lies in its ability to browse and find decentralized websites. It was designed to be adopted with other decentralized platforms, which makes it powerful and united with all decentralized applications.

The browser is able to see files from the Decenternet network in a similar way to the behavior of the File Explorer. Having a File Explorer behavior will definitely make the Cronus browser powerful.

A default wallet extension will be present in Cronus. The wallet is able to send and receive chips, change chip forms, buy and sell things in the decentralized network. Initially, it will accept the 10 best tokens according to the market capital for the transactions.

Decentralized Web Applications

It is a decentralized application store. It can be any free software and acquirable as games, utilities, office and supplements that consume decentralized resources. With the descenternet wallet connected, it will now be possible to buy software with tokens.

DApps Store will create a sustainable economy for developers of decentralized applications in Decenternet. The applications integrated in descenternet have an address that will help prevent software piracy. Each transaction in DApps is recorded in a public book, and ownership of an application license is added in the blockchain.

The browser will support traditional add-ons and decentralized add-ons. With the browser Osiris we will see something very similar to Google Chrome, but much faster and stable.
