It's 4:49 AM EST Here And I'm Still Grinding...

...listing items for resale on eBay, taking weighted practice baseball swings (even after a 2 hour practice today), doing shoulder presses and arm curls, eating protein, and putting in the work on Steemit while EVERYONE else around me is sleeping.

This is how I build my success daily. I sleep when my day has been conquered TWICE.

Effort = Results. Period.

This is me following through on a monster home run that landed in the street on the right side of the apartment building in left center... That fence is ~30 feet tall. I want more.

My friends make fun of me for staying up so late. They tease me for eating too much lean protein all of the time (since I don't take supplements). But, they're sleeping now and will be up in 3 hours to go to work all day for someone else...

They don't see what I see. They're still answering to someone else that pays them for their time and energy. They're making money for someone else and getting just a slice of the pie.

Freedom has its price, and that's simply a lot of effort. Fortunately, this is all fun for me, so I feel like I haven't worked a single day in the last ~4 years.

I'm doing the hard work now, so living will be easy.

Most people live easy now, and that's why their lives will be hard.

77 shoulder presses and 22 curls to go...

I will not fail,

Hey Matt! This is great, do you live anywhere near NJ? That’s where I’m from, I was up till 6am this morning and woke up at 10:30am lol, nice to see someone successful experiencing similar situation, I’ve gotten smack for times I’ve mentioned staying up late and getting ~4hours of sleep, ofcourse from a paid employee, even though I mentioned Donald trump and Chester Bennington reportedly do well on such amounts of sleep, I was hit with the remark, “yea but look what happened to C.Bennington...” and I shut up being in a disadvantaged position, but couldn’t help thinking to myself , ‘yea but why don’t you look at the positive aspects of Chester’s life and the accomplishments he made?’ People, I’ll tell you. Hey Matt I’m enjoying your content and glad I’m not the only one burning the midnight oil! Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. I'm glad someone could relate here since it's a rare breed these days. Sleep is very important, but mine is shifted on a different schedule since I work for myself, and can also take naps, etc..

Do you have a side business you're juggling with your regular job, or just use those later hours to pursue your passions in general? People most often criticize because they don't understand and want to make you feel bad for what they can't do. A lot of successful people work super early in the morning and go to bed very early. Likewise, a lot of successful people operate on less sleep than usual for a while as they're building something, so they can relax a lot more later on.

Keep doing what you enjoy and good things will happen. As for location, I prefer not to share that publicly.

All good, yea well yea, I work on steemit ofcourse, I don’t have a regular job but wouldn’t say I’m bonafide successful just yet lol, I like to upload my music, I play guitar and sing/do covers/write music. I prefer youtube as a platform, also I recently started sharing/blogging about interesting things I find or material I like to study/what interests me online, videos , etc. I like to use Instagram, wordpress, Twitter and Facebook to promote my blog, I’ll be up late working on that stuff. Thanks for the reply Matt!
