Introduction

The Letsearn project has now been running for 2 years and in that time we have been able to grow as a community with almost 300 learners from 65 different countries engaging with our platform every single day. Letsearn is one of the most successful crowd-sourcing initiatives, with a large number of researchers contributing towards a wide spectrum of topics. However, maintaining quality and sustaining the number of contributors over a period of time, without creating any disparity in the quality of research is the biggest challenge in this project. We have been receiving requests from many users from varied backgrounds, who want to contribute their research to Letsearn.

The mission of Letsearn is to “empower students and teachers to achieve their educational dreams” through online mentorship. Letsearn is supported by Red Ribbon Online, one of the Philippines' pioneers in online education, and its founder who is a full-time teacher. Letsearn is a South African based company that has been operating since the year 2000. The company offers a wide variety of translation services which include translation services, interpreting services and language training. They have a strong focus on the African continent and offer services in over thirty-five languages. They also have a strong focus on providing cost effective services to their clients. The company has over eighty different employees working within their company. They also offer a number of different services that include; interpreting, translation, language training and localization.

Letsearn is a project where we are learning and creating free educational resources (videos, articles, books, templates, etc.) for students, educators, and professionals. In our last update, we’ve added a new section "Letsearn Members" where you can find all the free educational resources created by our members. We’ve also introduced a new section "Premium resources" where you can purchase educational resources created by us. We’ve started a new project named "Letsearn Research Club" where we are doing a research on education and improving our content creation process.
