Your sbi reward balance needs to be bigger. Just check your sbi status.
Give it more time to build up or get more shares to reduce the time until you get the first upvote.
Your sbi reward balance must be 0.055$ to get your first upvote. With one share it takes 15-20 weeks and after that you will get the first upvote for 0.011$.
Yeah... with STEEM prices so low, the delay to first upvote on only 1 unit is unfortunately quite long. I have been thinking about potential solutions that are better than "enroll for more or upvote SBI to build your balance faster"
Hmmm I don't know if it 's possible to send a little bit of steem to build up the balance until the first vote can be cast.

We made some adjustments yesterday. Now every new member will start with enough balance to get an initial upvote right away (and all existing members that were below that level were brought up to that level).
