A fog of confusion arises;
The eye of god looks down.
Focus on minutiae while,
A ‘white elephant’ rides on by.
Our world is in disarray it seems,
At our feet fault is thrown.
Beauty is there for us to see,
At its loss our eyes should cry.
.
The time is late for action to take,
For the world to preserve,
Yet action it must be,
For without it we may lose our world,
Or our world will remove us;
Parasites it doesn’t deserve.
Appreciate the Earth,
Love and protect its glories unfurled.
.
A light of reason may at last cut through the
Miasmic fog;
A light of love to bolster, and help dispel the
Dismal smog.
