Eurasian coot / Blässhuhn
In search of new photo motives I discovered a water bird, which I hadn't noticed yet. A rather inconspicuous black bird with a white beak. Since I wanted to know what kind of animal it is, I immediately started a picture search when I was back home. Within a short time I had a result. It's an eurasian coot.
Auf der Suche nach neuen Fotomotiven habe ich einen Wasservogel entdeckt, welcher mir bisher noch nicht aufgefallen war. Ein recht unscheinbarer schwarzer Vogel mit weißem Schnabel. Da ich wissen wollte um was für ein Tier es sich handelt, habe ich direkt eine Bildersuche gestartet als ich wieder zu Hause war. Innerhalb kürzester hatte ich ein Ergebnis. Es ist ein Blässhuhn.

Nice photography. I see a lot of these birds on my travels but not many people know what they are. You usually see coots with moor hens. The coots have white heads and the moor hens have red heads
