Thai Paintings and Figures - Thailändische Malereien und Figuren

The last days I often let the last 1 ¾ years go by the head and remember gladly the cultures of the individual countries, in which we were. Thailand is not the only country known for its monks in orange robes.

Thai temples have a lot of attention to detail and a lot of gold leaf is also used in statues and pictures. Colourful pictures, drawings that tell of an earlier time, that is the exciting thing that makes me inhale in every country.

Today I show you the pictures from the temple on Koh Phangan Island. I know, the island is already very popular with tourism (which is also true) but you can still find beautiful places of Thai culture with open eyes.

When we were in the temple, we were invited to dinner. Which I hadn't expected at all. I think it is very important to keep the friendliness that is still here despite the tourism and to give the people there the necessary respect as well. Only in this way the foreigner remains a friendly and pleasant visitor.

Die letzten Tage lasse ich oft die letzten 1 ¾ Jahre durch den Kopf gehen und erinnere mich gerne an die Kulturen der einzelnen Länder, in denen wir waren. Nicht nur Thailand ist für seine Mönche im orangenen Mantel bekannt.

Thailändische Tempel besitzen viel Liebe zum Detail und es wird auch bei Statuen und Bildern viel Blattgold verwendet. Farbenfrohe Bilder, Zeichnungen die aus einer früheren Zeit erzählen, das ist das spannende, was mich auch in jedem Land inhalieren lässt.

Heute zeige ich euch die Bilder aus dem Tempel auf der Insel Koh Phangan. Ich weis, die Insel ist schon stark dem Tourismus verrufen ( was auch stimmt ) aber dennoch findet man mit offenen Augen immer noch schöne Orte der Thailändischen Kultur.

Als wir dort im Tempel waren, wurden wir eingeladen zum Essen. Womit ich überhaupt nicht gerechnet hatte. Die Freundlichkeit, die trotz des Tourismus hier noch ist, finde ich sehr wichtig zu behalten und den Menschen dort ebenfalls den nötigen Respekt entgegen zu geben. Nur so bleibt der Ausländer ein freundlicher und angenehmer Besucher.
