I placed the same request and had a talk. Bitvavo's answer was that Steemit is invisible, not developing and therefore is Steem not interesting.
@moecki tried as well. It's talking to a wall.
Then the next step is to hold a STEEM physical meeting in Amsterdam and invite them to join :D
