“Smart insulin” Could Prevent Hypoglycemia

Scientists at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) developed a form of “smart” insulin that has ability to track changes of blood glucose levels and so protect against episodes of #hypoglycemia.
The modified insulin, dabbed i-insulin, can also normalize glucose levels.
