My Dialysis Today Went Well And I Went Home With A Lower Blood Pressure
My nurses now are not so strict in letting me go even though my blood pressure is low, it is just 100 Systolic when they sent me home. They are used to it, they are asking me if I am lightheaded first which I am really aren't, otherwise I will just lay there for a while and wait for my BP to normalize.
The former head nurse is just letting me go home even though that is the case which makes me happy because I really do not want to stay longer after being there battling though the four house dialysis process. After my treatments I really can't wait to go home simply because I have my folks waiting for me the whole time, they are old and I do not wish to give them the trouble of waiting for an extra more time after my dialysis treatment.
It is good that I do not have the backache anymore unlike in the former times where the lingering pain is unbearable especially if they would put me in the wheelchair to wait for my blood pressure to go up at 120 even though I am telling them that I am not lightheaded or dizzy for that matter, still the nurses would not let me go.
Sometimes they are not using common sense if not listening to their patients and are just basing solely on numbers. But right now I think they are learning and are changing their ways and methods even though their standard is lower than I am needing and expecting.
But it is how medical services are given here in my country that is why the wealthy families goes abroad to seek a batter medical treatment because the standards are not the same. For example in the west the blood pressure standard is lower, about 110 Systolic while here in my country 130 is still ok.
Anyway today I also had taken 500 mg total Caffeine plus the coffee that I had for my breakfast. My blood pressure held strong even though I didn't do what I said that I will do which is to not eat while hooked-up for my dialysis because I ate anyway and finished two serving of rice with some meat and all that gravy included in my meal.
But my BP went low anyhow although it didn't make me feel so much uncomfortable but in the border of giving-up already. Still I am so thankful that I had finished my session ad was able to be sent home with a 100 Systolic blood pressure. I am just trying to maintain a low blood pressure so that my heart will not get so burdened and cause me more troubles, I thank God for this day.
