My Sweet Niece's Surprise Gift for my Birthday

I really thought my birthday was over.
My cake was eaten, the candles were blown out, and the "Happy Birthday" songs were finished weeks ago.
We had a lovely day in the city with my husband and daughter. Then we brought some yummy treats (pasalubong) back home, and then jumped right back into our busy lives.

But someone in my family has a different idea of how birthdays work 😁

My sweet little niece believes that if it’s your birthday month, the party should begin without a gift. In her world, if you celebrate your birthday, you deserve a gift, no matter how much time has passed
