Well I think we have a completely different approach then, and I fully agree that it's interesting to change perspectives and interact the way we do right now.

I'm not part of any circles, even though this will be hard to believe for someone like you :-)) It may sound weird, but I worked hard for that no. 72, producing (what I consider quality) content and spending lots of hours chatting on a daily basis since almost two years. Many of my videos had production times of 5-6 hours, including the shooting and editing.

Others have tried to reduce me to the bikini stuff in the past, and they failed miserably. So you should dig a bit deeper into my blog in order make me believe you’re a dialogue partner at eye level...:-)

In the end quality pays off. Nobody will remember bullshit in the long term.

$400 STU are 1,600 USD by the way. That's a big investment for one single blog post which will be forgotten the day after tomorrow don't you think? The average monthly salary on my island is $1,200 USD. Crazy world :-)

I'll tell you what my alltime earnings are: 27,639.70 SP.
At the current Steem price that's ~110,000 USD all earned through blogging.
Recently I've been able to invest a big part of it and buy a piece of land (in real life). In a couple of years I'll build a house on it. Funny enough the video about the invest was my most successful blog post ever - reaching the 3rd trending position (without one single bid bot by the way :-)) and a payout of ~1,600 USD.

So while you spent 1,600 USD for one post I earned them with one post :-)

From all I've read now it seems that you're not very much into community building. Someone who's really interested in community wouldn't talk disrespectfully about followers and partners. I by myself would never call my followers idiots for the simple reason that I don't know most of them personally. Also: what would we be without them? This is a social network after all, and at the end of the day it all comes down to interaction.

Btw I hope the companies that may potentially cooperate with you don't read your comments where you tell them that they have no idea what real influence is...:-D

Once Hivemind is implemented you will realize what I mean :-) Then nobody will care about the trending page at all, since the real action will take place in sub-communities.

Then new users will ask the established ones: I heard about trending, what was that again? - like kids asking their grandparents about the old times.

But hey, I guess you're doing great with your strategy, otherwise you'd change it - right? :-)
