Good day steemians, It is another lovely new week and I hope you all are enjoying every bit of it. Today I just see the need to write about this important topic which talks about staying away from negative peer pressure. Today in the world there is no part of the world where there are no friends with negative or evil characters and also the same way we have very good ones. Presently I will say we need more good guys than the bad ones and so we can only achieve this by individual discipline. All individuals have to know why it is very wrong to move with peer groups that are not after good things but just destruction.

No gains in keeping negative peer

The more reason I was inspired to write this article was that I have being in situations like his with bad and negative peer groups all around me, during my high school days most of you all can relate that moving with negative peer seems like something nice as you also want to always feel among and so then I had so many bad friends around me that did alot of bad things and so on, But the only thing that saved me was my family background. My mother was a disciplinarian and despite all the bad eggs I kept around me they were not able to influence me with all they did but I kept them as company, My mother's training never departed from me as it was always fresh in my mind. In essence I am also trying to say that family background is very important because when the parents do not train the child others outside are waiting to do just that.

At the end there was no gain moving with bad or negative friends instead you lose so many things and will need to start all over again. Not just for our own self this days but for the community, we have so many bad people out there today because at their tender age they were influenced by peer groups, The kind of friends you move around with is very important as friends can also shape your life either good or bad it is left to you.

Parents should make sure they follow up every activity of their children and make sure they are in the right path, Because at the end if your child is great you have done a great job and your child would also appreciate and thank you for shaping their life's and if you refuse to check the everyday activities of your child and they end up bad, That child would put you to shame and you will need to bear the pain because you had the ball in your court and you let it slip.
