Today I will write about a historical mosque of our country, and I will pin it up on the Steem Atlas map. I hope everyone will like it.

I am a Muslim, so I visited the Dhaleswar Hanafia Jame Mosque in Konda Union of Keraniganj Police Station in Dhaka city. It was also known as the Daroga Mosque. This mosque was built about 150 years ago, so it has now become a historical place. In 1868, Daroga Aminuddin Ahmed took the initiative to build the first mosque, so this mosque was known as the Daroga Mosque.

The mosque is our place of worship, and it is a holy place. Many people come here every day to offer prayers. After the construction of this mosque, his descendants later renovated the mosque. It was awarded the ‘Award of Merit’ category in the Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in December 2021, so since it is historical, people come here from far and wide every day to see the mosque.

The mosque is our holy place. Here is the ablution where you can be purified.

Rich and poor people come here, so there is a separate space for parking cars. There is a beautiful space inside to sit. The mosque is really beautiful, which makes you want to see it again and again, so you can sit and enjoy it in certain places.

There are various types of flowers and fruit trees around, which enhance the beauty of the mosque. There are several graves where the descendants of the founder of this mosque are buried after their death.

The windows and doors of the mosque are made of glass, so everything can be seen from the inside to the outside and from the outside to the inside. Inside, there is a prayer area and the Imam's chamber, who leads the prayer, and pillars of red concrete.

This mosque has been serving the residents of Dhaleswar beautifully. There are many facilities here in addition to prayers every day.

The religious activities that are usually seen in the Dhaleswar Hanafia Jame Mosque are—

I liked several things about this place. The entire mosque was open, with a garden on one side and a red brick walkway to enter the mosque on the other.

The ablution area is in a separate place inside the mosque, and the ablution area is also very beautiful and clean.

There is a committee inside the mosque that manages this mosque, and there is a donation box. In this donation box, many people donate coins in the name of Allah. There are several staff here, including the imam, the muezzin, and the mosque's khadem. They are all under the salary, and this salary is paid by the committee. There is a separate living room for the staff.

There are many lights around the mosque; these lights are lit at night.

All in all, I like this entire mosque.

Yes, I have a special moment here. I went to offer Friday prayers in this mosque. I knew the mosque beforehand, but I did not go inside and offer prayers. When I went to offer prayers on one Friday, I really liked the atmosphere there; everything inside is red, even the floor tiles are red.

This is one of the most beautiful mosques in Dhaka city; many people come from far and wide to see it. However, the Imam's words are more beautiful than the mosque itself. I was impressed by the Imam's sermon during Friday prayers; he preaches very well, and the sound of the sound box still rings in my ears.

I could not forget that day. I enjoyed that day a lot. I took pictures of everything in the mosque and walked around. The people here are very nice; they all have sincerity.
