How much does a man or woman need to be earning before he/she can decide to get married

To tie the knot and say i do is a very delicate subject matter especially when it comes to money and marriage most women would like to focus on their career first before settling down and most men would like to be financially stabled before getting married does my pay cheque need to have a certain amount written in it every month before i can get married or should i just marry him/her if i love her.

I think in the end it depends on the person's goals. A friend of mine got married why she had not finished varsity yet and was not self sufficient .She did not even have a part time job. I,on the other hand plan to get married when i have achieved a certain level of career stability then i can have time for a marriage and a family.Right now all i want is develop my career,buy my own house and car. Live on my own for a bit before i can even be ready to enter into marriage. (In case its relevant to your question I am a girl)
