The 'Constitutional Crisis'

the Fourth Estate Birthed
.................................................................................................................................................................................

  • As the “Russian Collusion” story disintegrates, it takes with it any reason to rely on the Fourth Estate, which in large part assisted in Obama administration wrongdoing. It has proven to be a handmaiden of those who concocted a big lie to bring down a political opponent.

  • it’s a fact that six senior leaders of the FBI or Justice Department have been either reassigned or fired based on facts that have come out largely from the work of this committee and of the inspector general of the Justice Department. Yet, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) is being branded almost as a lunatic. The hypocrisy here is not confined to newspaper editorial pages. We have seen a veritable news blockade on information coming out of these investigations on the front pages.

  • Lacking any coherent policies, the Democrats have pinned their hopes on persuading Americans that Trump is Hitler, Stalin, a usurper and a traitor who must be impeached. Their reaction to the release of the memo underscored their fright as this last remaining hope -- impeachment -- slips away. A prominent voice on that end has been Congressman Adam Schiff, who claimed falsely that the memo was inaccurate

I've noticed over the last few years that Inforwars has a better track record than most of the FUD puckers (mainstream media)

Imagine that. Not that InfoWars is good...it's just that the purveyors of FUD (if it bleeds it ledes) are rilly, rilly BAD.

Sort:

InfoWars and Breitbart are trash. DailyCaller is sometimes OK.

But they are the only freakin' places you can get the opposite perspective of a liberal-spun story...which comes from literally every other major news outlet.

I don't care much for Fox either, because most of their "news" ultimately comes from one of the 3 above sources above.

Dear Mickey!
I am following you from last few days and your last article "The State of Steem: 3 Feb 2018 ; 02:04 AM...(Texas Time)" was also amazing!
My thought on this is that it's better to be uninformed than misinformed and brainwashed!!! They don't do research, they don't investigate, I don't know why they call themselves journalists!
They are insulting journalism!

thank you.
it's possible to insult journalism?
if they didn't have double standards they'd not have any standards at all.
and their standards are so low than anything said about them,
no matter how bad,
understates the reality
and is thus a compliment.

You have to realize something.
The news media is no longer about informing the public.
And no, it's not about "indoctrinating" them either. I live in China and I see what THAT looks like, and it's a lot different from what goes on in the West.
No, the Western news media is something far less insidious, but equally worthless. It is entertainment. Nothing more, and nothing less. Newscasters are not telling what is true, nor are they telling what some puppetmaster tells them to say. They are telling what will make their target audience turn on their channel again. And given the appalling intellectual deficiency of the average American (I love my country and hate to speak so ill of my countrymen but it's a fact), "what will make their target audience turn on their channel again" is what Colonel Potter from M.A.S.H. would have called "horse-hockey."
There's a simple mnemonic to help make sense of it.
Real news tells you the truth and makes you think.
Chinese news tells you what the government wants you to think.
American news tells you what you already think, and claims to have "informed" you.
Complicating this slightly is the fact that a lot of America's media outlets are being bought up by China (meaning they are now spouting the CCP's line, case in point), but I'll get to that in a blog entry. For now, just suffice it to say that what is being paraded around as "news" in America is neither news nor propaganda. It's entertainment, fictional entertainment, pure and simple.

Good article in American Thinker today about this!

What's funny is how the memo was released on a Friday, before Superbowl Sunday and they were also running this disinformation

They are full tilt in damage control and I love it.

The only difference between our news and USSR news is that we believed ours.

It was interesting, a woman who had come over from russia was listening to our news and remarked that the soviets said the same thing.

I still haven't gotten rid of that... idea, that there is still some truth in news. And, there may still be, but just looking at how its reported is designed to affect emotions in certain ways.

I feel it is better, today, to be uninformed than misinformed and brainwashed.

you'd rather have a dirty brain?

Yes, I prefer my brain to go natural.

And that brain-shampoo they use has way too many chemicals (like chlorine and fluoride) for my taste.
^_^

you create a great post....i know some new from your post....i like it...i hope everybody like your post....thanks for shear it...

posstingan nice, i've upvote you, do not forget my upvote @azhariari

well said you are right

I don't know why they call themselves journalists anymore. They don't do research, they don't investigate, nor do they retract when they are wrong. Instead, they spin lies. What they can't find legitimately, they make up and keep spreading as lies, until over 50% of the people believe.

They'd make Geobbles and Goring very proud.
