DIV from the ground up...
So,
as I was just finishing up with putting together my previous post of a photo set from Nishava River and the Balkans mountains, my friend Jake (formerly @faddat) started to present an idea to rapidly respin a steem type blockchain with tendermint and some NoSQL backend, using better game mechanics, I think, because I kinda so quickly diverted the discussion to an idea that I am going to see if he wants to do, something both simpler and more innovative at the same time.
Not just to quickly implement an new tendermint based chain to recalibrate Steem's broken game mechanics and database hell, but to start with the creation of a self hosting blockchain type database that basically monetises and voteifies Git repositories, basically, a self hosted code repository, that pays contributors based on peer review and successful hardforks!
I just said, you know, the Steem blockchain was whipped together fast. Everyone in the blockchain space is only thinking ahead 6-12 months to becoming crypto millionaires, and whipping things together.
What about if we instead build a system for monetising the code directly!
Let's see how long it takes to get the DIV Dev team together this way!!!!
sounds like a valid idea!
It is genius. I don't know why I didn’t realise before it is a perfect way to assemble a DIV Dev team!
