That's an interesting choice of material! I've never thought of styrofoam as a structural material... might try using it for my projects too...

thanks! yeah it is especially great for objects that don't need to hold a lot of weight, OR for proto-typing a more solid project, which is what this has ended up being for me. soon I'll be sharing a DIY tutorial of the same monitor stand created with hobby board panel from the hardware store! :)
